Still $108 for a CS is unbelievable. Who cares if it has 32k miles as long as maintenance was done. It should be good. Debating this or spider. Trading in my 88 TR if anyone is interested.

Checked out the $106K Cs at Ferrari of LI today.
    33K miles.
major done this year with belts
    83% clutch left
    New rubber

Car runs like a beast. Have driven 360's and own a TR but this is different.

It has size large seats, fit me perfect.
Working on a deal with them, trading in my 88TR.
Am I crazy? 33k miles I don't think I care. Have 22k miles on my TR. Have found out during my ownership the more I drive it the better it runs. What do you guys think?

you have any info on this car at Ferrari of LI? Seriously considering it. They want to come pick up my TR next Tues. for an inspection, it is 2.5 hours away so I think they are serious also.

    Any help would be appreciated.

33k miles on a well maintained car is nothing
66k miles on a well maintained car is also nothing

it's all about the service history.. that is all that matters.. miles is more or less a number.. unless you are talking about over 150k miles where I would personally do a compression test.. it's just not an issue.. not in the real world..

I wouldn't care at all.. I might trade my 360 for a 430 or a CS by this coming summer also.. I would have no problems with 30k miles

Did you buy seal the deal? It's no longer on eBay. If you haven't yet, dooooooo it! You're not crazy. As someone else said, miles are not a factor in this case, rather routine services and records to back that up are. In my experience, at least with CS's, the more miles, the better it drives. Giterdun!! You won't even miss your TR behind the wheel of the CS.

I bid that one up in July after reading the history of that car here.
I never got any answers or replies to questions so stopped bidding under 100.
I might have kept going with more pictures. All I got as a reply once was a link to the fchat thread that led me to the auction. LOL.

I'm no longer looking since deciding I'm poor. :)

It looks realy nice, but I hate these descriptions where they're mixing what comes standard with any CS with what has been done to it after-market. What are those wheels? HRE "style"... seems weird. Anyway of telling if the stripe is factory installed?

"2004 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge Stradale F1!! Ultra Rare Tour De France Blue with Two-Tone Black and Blue Interior! Only 22631 well-pampered miles! Loaded with Features and Upgrades such as: Full Carbon Fiber Door Panels, Carbon Fiber Center Console, Blue Alcantara Dashboard, Carbon Fiber Engine Intake Manifolds, Carbon Fiber Exterior Mirrors, Stradale Stripe, Scuderia Shields, Push Button Start, TDF Blue Brake Calipers, Upgraded Radio with iPod Connection, Carbon Fiber Instrument Panel, Ceramic Brakes and more! Some obvious differences from the 360 are the reshaped nose, side sills that better guide air around the rear wheels, a reworked spoiler atop the tail and a revision of the underbody and rear air extractor. In addition, this 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge Stradale sits on 19-inch HRE Style Wheels with Pirelli Rubber (225/35 ZR19 up front, 285/35 ZR19 in the rear) that are designed to fit the Challenge Stradale. A major component from the Enzo supercar lurks inside those wheels, 15.0-in. carbon-ceramic disc brakes in front, and smaller discs of similar makeup for the rear. The center of gravity of the Challenge Stradale is 0.6 inches lower than a stock 360's, and the suspension has been stiffened, with a 20 percent increase in springing and damping. The driver is able to choose the suspension mode: an already firm Sport or a still more serious Race setting. Inside the Stradale is the same beautifully finished carbon fiber used in the Enzo, adding a nice aura to the cockpit and contributing to the weight trimmed from the 360 Modena for this new version. Like the Enzo, the Stradale has carbon-fiber inner door panels, center tunnel, seat shells, trim areas and several mechanical components. Using advanced plastic compounds for body panels, Lexan for the engine cover and the lighter carbon-ceramic brakes, the Stradale weighs 242 lb. less than a 360 Modena. Other elements from the Enzo include drilled aluminum pedals, a slightly flattened-top (but control-button-free) steering wheel, the same heating/air-conditioning switch panel and the air vents. Ahead is the gauge pod, with a yellow-face tachometer; while behind the steering-wheel rim are the F1 shift paddles. This 2004 Ferrari 360 Stradale boasts 425 HP, 30 more than the standard 360. The intake in this 2004 Challenge Stradale has the intake side ported and polished, and the exhaust has a new low back-pressure system with an unbelievable raspy sound. This 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge Stradale in rare TDF Blue will not last long! Contact our experienced sales team at 561-845-3838 for more information. Driving Emotions."

I've read the history of the car, and it sounds like the only thing questionable is the holes in the floor. They weren't structural and have been repaired, but...........the result is a salvage title. That is a huge hit in the world of the CS.

Without the negative of the salvage title it would have been worth $135K today.
Now that is a salvage car, it is worth around $100K.

lastest update on Cs at FoLI

    33k miles
Still asking $108K will not move

    No tool kit
    No car cover
No Red Fob (one key 2 black fobs)

    Car Fax clean

At 11,000 miles car had to be towed in because clutch worn down to 100% would not work
At 14,000 miles had F1 problems again Hydraulic pump replaced
    battery had to replaced twice
    tires replaced twice
    Rims had to be unbent

Major Service with belts at 29,00 miles on 11/08
    Exhaust replaced 12/08
    O2 sensor replaced 12/08

    Body panel dings repaired 7/09

Any thoughts? I think I will pass for now. Too many issues for me. I think it has been 33,000 hard miles. For 20k more get a much bettter car. if under 100k would still consider it.

Thanks for the great info! I thought they lowered it to $106k? That's a fair amount of issues. Not having the red fob alone would be a deal breaker as I understand those are difficult to replace.

they did a check on the clutch and brakes.

    Clutch 17% wore 83% remaining

Brakes. Rotors 25% worn all around
    Pads 20% worn in front
    25% worn in back

How did he burn through a clutch 100% in 11,000 miles and use only 17% in 22,000 miles?

Wanted to do compression test but they wanted $750 to perform it.
It had clear bra removed. Why would someone have that removed?

Launch control will finish a clutch in about 4 launches. Sounds like someone did a few L.C.'s then learned their lesson. I wouldn't hold that against the car.

$750 way to high for a compression test. 3 hrs max, $360.

Clear bra could be removed due to yellowing. It was probably 5 years old, also wouldn't worry about that if there is no indication of bodywork.
