Check out some theaters, they might have some they would like to get rid of (if they still have them, what do they do with the ones they use?)

    I agree with allposters.com though.

old posters in my cinema usually get thrown out if the staff don't take them :(

i have however been collecting stuff recently that i like,i have 2 Dark Night Banners, one of Batman & one of Joker, and a few Up banners and Xmas carol, with a whole load of others

you should still try a cinema, may end up costing you nothing at all,i have a Transformer's one but i'm over in the UK

After the film opens, they are usually taken down and the staff gets them.
It never hurts to ask for one, though. You might get lucky, but doubtful on a blockbuster film.
Banners might be easier, as they're bigger and most people don't have the space to hang them.
Also, never pay a theater for a poster. They don't own them, the studios do.
Lucas wanted his posters back, and there was hell to pay when some 'disappeared'.

Time is short. I'm looking on Ebay. BTW: I have an original Star Wars 1st issue poster I got from a local theater by sweet talking a ticket taker. It's stunningly beautiful great art.

I have a full size Freddy Krueger cardboard standup that's pretty awesome. It's a little worse for the wear, but still totally cool!
