I know the real name of that company and have met the owners. They are a good supplier and will stand behind the parts. I bet it is an AP part.

I guess I should not say real name but non internet name instead. And I am sure they were not trying to be evasive but whoever fields the Ebay questions was prob not a parts person.

Looking at the photo one can clearly see that the box is from AP.

You are correct but I have seen that used before as a bait and switch deal. No worries about that here though in my opinion.

I could see that the disc is AP, but my concern is/was the pressure plate. On several threads F-chatters have complained that the pedal pressure all but disappeared at high rpm
and that is where I shift. Also I am not looking forward to a sub standard pressure plate exploding.

Unfortunately, that seems to be inherent in the OEM pressure plate design. I suggest you contact Centerforce & have them rebuild your pressure plate as a Centerforce pressure plate. The stock disc will be fine, or they can also rebuild yours. For more details, PM chrismorse who had centerforce rebuild his clutch a few years back.

The labels on the box are AP BORG BECK Clutch Service Parts 121478 for 4562, the other label HE 4562 Ferrari.

I thought that the pressure plate fingers were curved at the ends or had a triangular piece when Ferrari changed to the self adjusting configuration. The fingers are straight on this one, he assured this was/is the right clutch.

Since I have no clutch problems at the moment and I don't know what mine looks like, I guess I will find out when the time comes.

I am just trying to be ready. They were very nice to deal with and they even offered to send me the 3 sizes of ring nuts and I could return the ones I did not use. I just ordered
the bottom one (since the description of the clutch replacement just described te removal
of that one) and I won't be doing it soon (I hope :) ).
