Over anything else, including many items with a much higher monetary value...mine is a Schumacher signed, race worn nomex top from the Monza 2000 race.

The race was full of raw human emotion, the bad accident, the death of a marshal, MS's matching Senna's win record and MS's release of emotion at the post race interview.

    Remember this?....

    Thats a good question.

Of course, I love my 308 GTS QV, so that might rate high.

But I might list my Comic Collection higher...some of the books I own:

    Superman #20 (1941)
    X-Men #1-28 (1963)
    Marvel Mystery Comics #11 (1940)
    Spiderman #7
    Captain America #100 (1968)
    Incredible Hulk #102 (1968)
    Giant Size X-Men #1
    X-Men #94-325 (almost two sets)

and a TON of other key issues from the 60s through the 90s. I largely focused on those with my collection years ago.

To many of you those titles and numbers may not mean much, but to give you a clue I could probably sell my comics and pay off my house and buy a brand new Ferrari.

So, that might just be it....even more than my current Ferrari.

I collected game worn hockey jerseys for a while and being a lifelong Boston Bruins fan, my Ray Bourque and Andy Moog jerseys from the 1990 Stanley Cup Finals would have to be my favorites. They were my two favorite players and the finals jerseys are very hard to come by.

I collect 1/18 Models, a few years back my Now 5 year old daughter and I stripped one of my 355 models, We changed the rims and we painted it (her choice) Pink. I have it in my "Ferrari Room" on display with the others. I cannot tell you how great it was to tackle this project with ny Girlie.

I Also Collect Cigarettes from all over the world. As it stands right now, I have over 250 packs. Some full, some Empty. Great conversation piece when people come over and down into the "Cave".

Posted a list in another thread - really hard to choose as I own a ton of "collectible" items:

    - Original Yankee Stadium seat (pre-1973)
    - Red Schoendienst game used bat (c. 1951)
    - Huge collection of 78rpm records (1000's of discs)
    - Atari 2600 and 800 computer, games, memorabilia, etc.
    - Complete 1961 Topps baseball card set (with signed Whitey Ford card); every Topps (complete AND sealed) from 1968-on
    - Every Hess truck - in box - from 1976-on
    - 1979 Kenner Alien action figure (in box, with poster)
    - Hummel angel bells from 1976 on (first year they made them!)
    - A few original Beatles albums (US versions)
    - About 100 Playboy magazines from the 60's and 70's
    - An original set of Aurora HO "Thunderjet" slot cars; 70's era A/FX and Tyco cars
    - Some of the original Hot Wheels "redline" cars - Beatnik Bandit (1968), TwinMill (1969) - sadly, not in package!
    - My 1966 Jaguar E-Type FHC

You can see, I hoard things :)

I'd say my most prized, however, is my 1967 Honda CL/77 Scrambler motorcycle. My father purchased it in 1968, just before I was born (he was the second owner). I used to ride on it when I was quite young - maybe 5 at most - and I cherised those moments with him. The bike ended up sitting for about 15 years until I refreshed it and rode it. My father gave it to me, and I still have it - only 8,300 original miles on it!

It's been dumped twice (once by my dad, once by me) and it needs TLC, but it runs and I am always reminded of a more innocent time spent with my father riding on summer days. To me, the bike is priceless, and I will never sell it.

It's hard to choose, but my favourite 2 Ferrari related collectables, are firstly the trophy presented to Fangio by Juan Peron and Evita, on his winning the Buenos Aries GP in 1951.
Second has to be the beautifully built AMR 1/43 model of my old GTO, #3527, which was given to me on the 20th anniversary of the GTO.

Looking over your list I recalled I have the Playboy issue from the month I was born...May 1958

    It has FERRARI content!

Portago was to write an article of his Italian road race experience, they ran the story of his death, in it's place.

Wow - that's cool! I thought I had a few 50's issues, I have to check. Best guess is '59 on, but I can't recall (they're stored in my basement).

I also forgot to add to my list - my wine and beer collection...small, but some good names in there ;)

Two things. My grandpa's WWII gun he "stole" and a piece of the Berlin Wall.

Car wise, I would say my old Bburago F40. The model is pretty crappy, but it is signed by Nikki Lauda!

I collect coins, guns, cars, books, movie posters, and weirdly enough; pinball machines. 45 near perfect ones. They have life. Some of them are the best examples on the planet.

But my fave item is Dad's Winchester Model 71 .348 lever action rifle.
A beautiful machine with sentimental value.

Mine is a shotgun from my Grandpa from the late 1930's. Still fires just fine. Car related is my 1/24 288 GTO my dad gave me when I was 5-6 yrs old. It's what got me interested in Ferrari's and has been displayed in every bedroom I've had for the last 24 or so yrs. My niece and nephew (7,8 yrs old) both found some matchbox cars to give me. My niece also regularly draws me pictures of cars to put up, too. :)

I have few prized possessions. Those that I do own, come with a story. One was given to me by my grandfather long after WWII had ended; the other two were given to me by my father after he retired from being a cop for 30 years.

A belt buckle, a knife and a revolver are my prized possessions because the stories behind them are real and they convey wisdom to those willing to listen.

I just thank god no one before me owned a wristwatch.

That's a curious remark - care to explain? One thing that's occurred to me about not having a son is that I won't be able to pass on my good watches until grandchildren come along - and reach an age where they'll appreciate a $5K watch.

A hand made accordian made by my great grandfather after he moved to Chicago from Italy with my great grandmother around the 1890's. The name on the accordian is our family name.

My great grandfather sold it and started a business in Chicago making and eventually importing accordians from Italy. The accordian survived about 50 years when it ended up in the possession of my father. My father, who was a master accordian tuner, completely restored it.

It's a tribute to the ingenutity, creativity, and determination of my family to use their talents to survive and prosper in the new world while preserving the culture from which they left.

I forgot I had my Dad's Utah Highway Patrol belt buckle from several years ago. I keep it tucked away and spaced it. Also, I have a lot of admiration for you Dad for making it 30 years. :)
