One thing I find is that youtube stuffs cannot give you the true exhaust sound. You'd need to hear it live to experience it @ different revs. It is also very important to know if there's a 'drone' or resonance in the cabin or you'll go deaf & a migraine pretty soon. I've only had a brief encounter. It is very smooth+fast, so is the downshifts which lacks the drama, clanking feel & rev-up note. In a Ferrari or older E gears, everytime you downshifts, the engine wails & you'd feel a kick in the butt which is very addictive Somehow, Porsche's water-cooled flat six tone is not that nice. Why don't you try other makers from Bilstein, koni etc? Contact the maker directly & seek their opinions on damping/sping rate etc. You must decide on your driving habit as well. My only concern is the on-board adjustable electronics. Speaking of that, which setting have you been using for the 599? I was offered EZ69M for S$7K few years back & I said ON but the dealer thought it was too high & tried to offered lower much to my dismay. 20mins later it was gone..... I think there is a #SE69X out there. Belongs to an old friend who put it on his vintage Alfa.

The authorities here have been very hardworking. They are always checking on road taxes of your vehicle/bikes @ airports area & during night road blocks. Sometimes they check my Sg cars too. Well, what happens is a lot of people here do not pay their insurance & road taxes which can be done online as well. In Malaysia, u actually have to inform their JPJ & your insurance company if you're doing a colour change. Far too many fraud claims here. So, they are actually more careful than us in certain areas.

I think they will retain their E-Gear system instead of opting for a DSG as they want their cars to retain the thrill of driving.
I don't really wanna try other makers because then I lose the magnaridel suspension or whatever it's called. I've been driving it around on sport, but perhaps I should drive in on race instead. I think the suspension could be made much stiffer than the original setting.

So I'm gone all week and I've got 6 pages (of 100posts) to catch up on .... that gave me a laugh A friends wife took their 430 to Gleneagles Hosp earlier in the week & had it valet parked .. when it was returned she cud smell the clutch .. several failed attempts to get it into gear before it finally gave up on Orange Grove Road. Most worrying this is the valet said "all Ferrari's smell like that mamm". Car has less than 5k on it with no LC usage so I guess he reversed it all the way from the basement carpark or something. sadly I say the same about the G yeh I've been asked to be the sweeper, not the leader! I always thought we were honest here so I can do my belly laugh one look says it all I reckon MP will still be the post king I thought about pink for the buggy but it wudnt go with the interior .. oh and Mrs K wudnt allow it.
