Don't you drive your 3500gt in Germany? The paint on the car looks like new.Was the A6 the car your friend drove too the meeting in Dresden?

    Best regards!

This 3500 GT is in remarkable original condition. It still has its original leather and paint that is very little cracked on some spots giving it a lovly patina. Only the engine, gearbox, suspension & differential had been carefully restored!

Yes, this Zagato was also entered in the DResden event - but : it was transported to and from Dreden on a transporter!

    Ciao!
    Walter

    Hello Walter,
I've been at Essen and spoken at the stand to someone of the club (who owns a Ghibli, don't know his name) and we together looked closely at the blue 3500 GT.
It is definitely NOT in its first paint, in the front left there is a dust of paint underneath the wing (strange for a car that is driven to Essen) and also the hood has a wave of paint underneath (where it is originally black). We even saw some red paint in the edges around the motorbay, could be the old colour or filler from a repaint?
However, the paint overall could be very old and the car indeed has nice patina, it is a nice 'no showroom' car indeed!
A bit pity is the change to Weber's where the Fuel Injection is original (see the thread about this, nice to read too http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227298) for this GTI. And the Weber's used are 40 instead of 42 which was original for the early 3500 GT's.
    Kind regards,
    Marc Florie

    Hi Marc,
The owner has a statement from the Factory that listed this car with its "1st" paint as black. But prior to its delivery the 1st owner changed its mind and requested this silver-blue. The car was repainted then in this color.

The red chips you saw in the engine bay are from the old filler.

    Ciao!
    Walter
