That's nuttin' - this Lotus just saw the light of day after 40+ years in hiding... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Quite frankly there aren't enough comments about them. It reminds me a bit of the Edwards case, where the press wasn't jumping onto the bandwaggon of tabloid journalism and didn't dare reporting the horrible allegations. Only to find out months later, that all was true and that they totally missed the boat. I don't get it why no F1 magazine/website/tv station isn't asking why The Emperor Windsor has no clothes on.
the regulations now forbid full scale wind tunnel testing. I posted the link to be of interest to some and to show what is possible to release to a public interested in any news of any new teams. We could paint a bridge and watch it dry while USF1 bombards us with their tidbits.
Okay, who had Tifosi12 at 3 posts away?, anyone?, do we have a winner?. I've found some footage of Lotus using an old chassis and a sneaky way around the testing ban to test out a new driver, but I'm not sure about him. He drives fast but he looks a bit too casual getting the car back on track after an incident for My liking!.Also, the age and fitness levels may not be where they need to be!. See what you guys think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I288hrR0wJs
I'm pretty sure he's just about to be announced as the second Mercedes driver (just pipping Schuey on driving ability I believe! )
Lotus is really the only one of those new teams that actually shows something real, and gives the feeling they are working and going on. I'd like to see that much from all the others, just to be sure they still plan on running. (including usf1 )
Tony Fernandes is coming back to Malaysia today with the 2 newly signed drivers, speculation it's Trulli and Heikki. Frankly, i do hope it's Koby, and not someone useless like Heikki.
