Besides the usual grandprixmodels? I've been idly looking for an older Tameo kit. Finally find it on the web site of another big model shop. Excited until I realize that they don't deduct VAT and they want € 25 to ship one lousy 1/43 kit! I don't understand them refusing to take off for VAT and the shipping is highway robbery.

I've looked at most of the web sites that are listed as dealers by Tameo themselves. Just wondering if anyone has any good sources.

Ferrari (duh!) 156/85. Always liked that car, had it from Bosica many years ago but sold it. Tameo TMK019 I believe is the number. They also did a 156/85B which I'd also be interested in.

Perhaps you've already tried this scource, if not, they just might have what you need:

    Peggy Cunningham,
    Model Car Masterpieces (aka MCM)
    1525 W. MacArthur Blvd #20
    Costa Mesa, CA
    Tel: 714. 751. 8232
    Tollfree: 888-MODL-CAR
    E-mail: [email protected]

Peggy is a real treasure. I've dealt with her for years and am very happy with her service. Very knowledgable, will go to the ends of the earth to help and has a network of contacts and handles estate liquidations involving older kits and built models.

    Good Luck

Found 3 so far - 1 in France (with the ridiculous policies) 1 in Italy and 1 on ebay. I'm watching the ebay one but it's really too much money for such an old kit. I'm getting cheap in my old age!

I am on business trip--let me get home and see where it is and if it has a price on it.

    Give me 2 weeks.

Is that directed at me? If you're referring to the web site comment - look - from my POV the website stinks on ice, okay? I know 14 year olds that have designed better sites than that. Really it's just plain awful except some nice pictures of their finished models. Sad how many companies do this to themselves. Hard to navigate, hard to read, not enough real content.
