I'm wondering about the wisdom of my most recent 348 "upgrade"..new 19" rims. The rear are 275/30's and the front 235/35's. Pirelli Nero zero's.

The steering gets a little "twitchy" at speed...front end seems lighter than with the original's.

Would rear spacers help? Or am I imagining the changes?

post a side view...I have a similar set up but with 235 front 285 rear.

the wider wheels should negate a need for spacer....but it will be interesting to see what others think

Visually (and I haven't had my espresso yet!), they 'look' to need spacers. I'm trying to trace the wheels on those brick lines to see the spacing.

just so you know...the front of your car will now sit about .5 - .75 inches higher than the rear...aerodynamics will be changed with more airflow under the front of car it will get lighter at speed. you need to put a either a 295/30 or a 275/35 or front a 225/35 to level out the car...or drop the front with the ride height adjusters

From your picture it looks like the rear tires are "stretched" to fit on the rim, and might not really be wide enough for the application.

The tires look too narrow for the wheels.

Yes! It needed some electrical work and now has a new twin plate (kevlar) clutch kit.

A Larini exhaust and hyperflow cats are going in next week. l'll put in a i-phone compatible sound system as well.....that should just about do it.

I follow where all ferraris end up.
DID u take that ugly dvd player out of it that was cut into the glove box?
Also there was a small dent under the right hand side indicator light.

Is is a very nice car though. Ferrari spent almost 6k in detailing it.
the guy from the kitchen connection bought my friends black on black 355 gts.
    he sold that as well.

Ah...the glove box has nothing in it now, looks quite normal, but that might explain why the glove box light doesn't work!

No dings or dents on the car to speak of. The body and coachwork is extremely clean..which is one of the reasons I purchased that particular 348......it's a head turner alright! :)
