    Apparently so.
    A 275 GTS (serial # 07359) was featured in the film Fathom that starred Welch, and after filming the car was reportedly gifted to her by the director of the film.
    The car was sold by Mecum auctions in 2003.

    I believe he also owns some vintage Jags. I think I remember him mentioning something about that before. He tends to talk more about boats than cars though. But he definitely seems to admire anything with a motor.

    Marc Bolan wrote about cars in so many of his songs but never learned to drive.

    Ironically he was killed as passenger in a purple mini driven by his girlfriend.
