Since I couldn't drive IN the 355 today...figured I might as well drive ON rte 355 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dialed back the insurance today...no more Fcar till the spring rains clear the sand from the roads. Bummer Now I'm stuck with you guys.....More specifically, your stuck with me.
Lane, you need to move your F-Car insurance to Hagerty so you don't have to add and delete coverage. $500 per year covers each of my F-Cars annually for an agreed value of $40k... and I get a nice quarterly newsletter
I pay about the same from Nationwide. Dialed back insurance to save a little money in a time frame when I won't drive the car anyway. Once sand hits the streets, I'm all done till its cleared. Got enough chips now.
I decided to "bite the bullet" so to speak or accept reality. I just got off the phone dialing back my own insurance on the 430. My 6 month premium on the car is around 900 so I'll save some bucks taking it off for 3 months or so.
I didn't get a chance to winterize the M3 yet, and now there's ice and salt on the roads. To make matters worse, my summer tires are nearly slicks. No problem for warm, dry roads. Not so much for cold, icy roads.
Nope, can't do it. Despite the snow on the ground, I just can't make that call to cancel insurance...if weather holds I'll have the 355 out on Sunday. Insurance is the least of my costs with a Ferrari! And here's a pic from my visit this week to the Chicago Ferrari dealer, Continental Autosports Nice showroom collection, including a 1956 250GT, 1 of 4 produced, asking $800k. Sweet! With snow on the ground and the threat of snow in the air, the CT gathering presses on into the winter. Frank, gorgeous new Porsche...we just need to modify it to get that ride height actuation faster to get her bouncing The calendar says 2 more meets left in 2009...to quote Phil, 'who will be the last exotic standing??' Nice to get out this morning with the new winter toy. It was a small gathering but it worked out well with the small space inside Starbucks. With the start of the New Year we should decide on another venue until the spring? As far as the last exotic standing, my money is on Phil. To quote Kramer, "I'm out!!"
Jeez...I miss youz guyz. If we are taking bets...I'm going with Phil also. Mike - I really wanted to tease you some more RE your site name but also wanted to see how Rocco did with the nero paint chips. I'm sure it looks great. BTW - Did you go to Rocco's saturday? I got wrapped up in family duties. Dylan Had a game in Deham Ma at 9:00 last night and Kendall sang with the Mercy Christmas Choir. Lynn and I had to split up for support. Busy Busy...
I hear you Rocco. I can tolerate until New Years to finish out the holiday season then I'd be more than happy to fast forward at least 3-4 months until April or May. Give me a nice decent actual SPRING for a change instead of going straight from winter to summer for crying out loud! Ah, wishful thinking...... By the way, I have until the end of Jan to move my daughters travel softball teams raffle tix ... the prize is 4 tix to Sox/Yanks at Fenway Sat May 8th with roundtrip limo service any more takers? tix are $5 each or $20 for book of 5
