They will not be the same price so its a trick question. Unless its a beat to **** f50, in which case I go for the CGT.
Is this a real question? F50. Do I even need to give a reason? Just watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdQc-t4zaqU
F50 ! ideally a CGT and MC12 to keep it compaby Geno, Watch this, around 0.10s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbX48213JC8&feature=related
neither turns me on but if forced the CGT since its not hideous looking (though it aint great looking either)
Tough one. The CGT is better looking, sounds great. The F50 has the best sounding engine...ever...especially with a J-wolff/MS racing/F50 GT exhaust. Slight remap and small changes sees higher RPM and more power. Probably easier to drive near the limit that the CGT. Since you're normally inside the car when driving, and don't care much about what it looks like from the outside (as neither are ugly anyways), I'd have to take the F50. But with current prices if you afford an F50, there's a good possibility that a CGT isn't a huge impact on your expenses. Although in europe you can buy an F50 for not much more than a CGT.
What he said. Neither are very well designed, and both are too fast to use on the road. Plus, there are many far more interesting cars -- including some serious Ferraris -- for that kind of cash.
Based on current US prices, you can buy 3 CGTs for the price of one F50...both amazing cars in their own right...both are really race cars for the street...and they are both brillantly designed...I have driven a CGT on several occassions, and its the most amazing car have ever drive...a true beast...havent had the pleasure of driving the F50...yet...
They're both pretty ugly but I rate the Enzo higher because there are at least a couple angles where I think its *okay* whereas I cant find anything to like on the F50. Ferrari should just make everything look like the 288GTO...that car broke the mold.
F50, because of its wild looks and character. It's the most over the top super-Ferrari. Too bad LdM doesn't like rear wings.
Lower Waker is Chicago's version of a long tunnel. Love to take the CGT there. The F50 would be incredible! Geno.
I can't belive the price difference. They did make three time more F50s than CGTs. That is one of the factors when it comes to the price difference. Seems like the F50 prices are holding strong like the 288 GT0. I guess the Ferrari Super Car that has production number closer to 300 really impacts the price over time. This means they made about 200 Enzos too many. Geno.
I wouldn't bet against the CGT... I love the CGT but they are not that rare in hypercar terms so it's a turnoff (eventhough it's the perfect sportscar imho). So... F50 in nero please. On the other hand; spoke to a former F50 owner once and he was VERY tired of waiting for months for parts so I wouldn't buy one with my own cash.
