Does anybody have more pics of the Ferrari 166MM Zagato s/n 0018M? Please, post.

Especially I need images from 1950 Mille Miglia and 1951 Targa Florio.

Current condition & whereabouts?

In the 'Tipo 166' book the chassis number of this car is said to be uncertain. Is it now resolved?

 

Last photo is from the 12 hrs of Pescara 15 August 1953 with Simon-Ciarelli DNF.

Does anybody knows the car #0018M started life as 166 MM Touring Barchetta or as Zagato coupe?

 

7 = Pescara Y.Simon-Ciarelli 18/15/53 DNF

 

0018M started life in 1949 as a Zagato Berlinetta (Panoramica Speciale as it was called) and was rebodied by Zagato in 1950 to become a Barchetta.

 

Not a barchetta but a "siluro". Did it had anything in common with a barchetta ?

 

Is it name only for '1950 166MM Zagato? because car had the retractable frontlights?

Very interesting; are there any photos of the Panoramica ? In 1948 Zagato did a Panoramica Maserati A6 1500. It would be interesting to compare the two.

Start number is 44... According to barchetta.cc this shot was made 29/06/53 at Gran Premio dell'Autodromo di Monza

Does anybody has pics from '50 Mille Miglia when 166MM s/n 0018M was still a Zagato coupe?

 

At 12 h de Pescara (15/8/1953) 166 MM 0018M also had start #44 . So, this shot was made at one of these races...

 

Your description is the proper one.

 

It had #46 at Pescara.

For a start you could buy the book Ferrari by Zagato by Michele Marchiano. In it you will find 10 photos of the Berlinetta version.
No doubt the photo with #44 was taken at Monza.
