Did purchasers of new 430s (or other models) get a photographic ensemble of the assembly process of your car? I've got a Scuderia and have one, and I'd be curious to know if that was specifically for the Scuderia, or if it is standard fare for Ferraris.

It's the VIP program. It's been going on a while.

My 08 F430 spider came with one.

My 430 was delivered 8/05 and they started the books shortly after that. However, there are stories of photos not matching the actual cars. Hopefully, this was staightened out at some point.

How does one get into the "VIP program?" I would love some pictures.
    Does 2 prior F-cars qualify?

when I bought my 09 spider the dealer had another new 430 spider and we looked at the vip pictures and they were the same as the cars where the same exterior color. Thus we concluded Ferrari used the same pictures if the exterior color was the same. All they did was change the the id numbers. Also look at the dates of when the finished car picture is and the dates of the other pictures like the engine etc and you will be able to tell some of the dates of parts taken are after the date the car was "finished" Funny company I will tell you that.

I assumed it would ve a bit inefficient to take pictures of EVERY vehicle at the various stages especially when most of them are duplicates.

I didn't "add it". In fact, it wasn't until I picked up the car that dealer showed me the book. I was surprised. I thought every new car got it automatically.

Honestly, I was so overwhelmed with seeing my car for the first time that I didn't pay much attention!

This wasn't an option that was purchased, was it? I was looking through my invoice and didn't see it. I hope I wasn't charged for it.

I think you are right but I wonder how many get passed along when a car is sold.

I received a 2004 yearbook and a racinig activities book with a letter from FNA a few months after getting the car. I doubt many of these get passed along.
