I dont see the point of the LC on the Stradale. It's hardly a street light racer as you need to go very high in the revs to get the power. You'll be faster in an SL600.

LOL 1400lbs more and only 85hp more. SL600 is a tank. More than 1/2 second to 60 slower and lets not get started on actual performance data. You know like Turning and Stuff ;)

You might as well compare a Chevy 1500 pickup

Don't sell the SL short, especially on the tq side. I love my Ferrari's, but I routinely humiliate my friend's Ferrari's on mountain roads with my very mildly tuned SL55. All the electronics and AMG work have really hidden the weight and made a capable sports car.

The same CSs with stories keep poping up for sale. Seems like no one is interested in them and they keep dropping in value. Perfect no story CSs are at a much higher resale level.

True. The same storied cars keep cropping up at different dealers and the higher priced straight shooters are not moving.

Andrew, do you know the production dates for US bound CSs. Did they run from Sept. 03 thru July 04? Thanks in advance..

I wonder how many CS's have actually sold in the US this year? 24?

It can't be very many, which is kind of ironic considering all the talk about them, but not so ironic when considering that most of the talk about them has been about their prices.

Funny and all the guys selling them are talking them up.
I know of 4 in our area that were purchased or sold. I'd bet you are close for sure on your 20 total.

Reality still hurts for some of these guys that if they want to sell they won't unless they are reasonable. 150k on a 10k mile car won't do it. 130k would. 150k would be probably top money right now. Who cares what people think. The economy doesn't warrant anything more. Our local 1400 mile car that sold above 175 this year is the exception to this rule imho. The 20-30 for sale right now listed 150 and above might as well save their advertising money. CS's are great cars but in reality the competition with a F430 at 130k money will spank it and the TRUE CS enthusiasts are far and few between now. Most of the TRUE CS guys have a car now and others will go for the Faster, Better, More Comfortable and Newer 430's in the end.

    No one is buying........

I agree with what you say about the 430 buyer. There is also something to be said for a broad selection of 430 product in mostly sound condition vs sorting through the storied and limited Stradale market place. I think the introduction of the 458 will actually stabilize prices due to the mark-up for first cars that will make an early 430 seem like a bargain.
