Too much bling for me.
ah ah this said by a guy that owns a purple car with a wing and blue interior! p.s. it is indeed a little too bling but is a special car, so i would happy drive it in its original livery!
Normally, I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to the Countach. Original colors, correct wheels, yadda yadda yadda... but then I saw this... Here are the rest of the pics of this car. Photo Copyrights to Light Auto (Japan). Well it looks like I might be taking a Countach in on trade on the 360 I am selling. Not sure if I really want to part with the first real supercar. Super clean Black Tan 86 US FI car with real euro front bumper/spoiler. Very excited. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Congrats on trading something common and ordinary for something iconic and special! Kidding aside, make sure to bring the pics when the car arrives!
Not sure what that guy is thinking, but that's a good trade for you. fyi, I blew away a 360 with mine one day and not by a little either, but by a real margin. Hope it works out for you.
British Columbia based, this Pearl White Annivesario was collected as a new car at Sant Agata and EE (Escursionisti Esteri) plates remain in evidence Image Unavailable, Please Login
The shame is that it was not being driven. Tell us Joe was that a genuine in the wild spot or a posed photo?
Rob: The image is of a genuine and random spot of an LP400 being trailer'ed on the Southern California freeway system. I think the car in question is the ex-Don Curtis chassis number 1120052. We try to keep it real here! Image Unavailable, Please Login
that makes in last month (and at very least): 3 QV FI 1 5000S carbed 1 LP400S 1 LP400 :-o as Joe correctly pointed out in an other thread it is normal that some go out and some go in...but now the thing is slightly different imo with 6 cars out in one month and may be none in ...i am thinking the number of countach in US is really going to get smaller as i already told, i aspect all of them to become more expensive in US in a couple of year and i would say to secure one now (that prices are pretty good) would not be a bad move for any countach fan! just my 0.02
Being a Great euro car at a good price, i was really surprised to see that nobody in the US bought the 5000S carb car. Too bad.
interesting... http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1NIgHY/wiresmash.com/amazing/homemade-lamborghini-built-in-10-years/
This does not belong here. Yes, I admire the passion, skill and determination that went into it, but this isn't a Countach Replica thread...
Last year's news, anyway. That story made the rounds of a bunch of web boards. Dude ended up losing his job (I think as an auto worker). I wonder if he was able to hang onto the car after all that. He did do a beautiful job--his car is certainly a step above your average Fiero replica. Imagine his love for the Countach that he went ahead and did that. I'd hope that even the most jaded Countach owners could appreciate what he did.
yes, i was to surprised to see it stay for some time this said, i think there was more than one guy interested in getting the car
+1, wouldnt go so far as to criticise the posting of it in here. This is obviously a long term and very enthusiastic fan of the Lamborghini Countach. The guy did a great job regardless of what the die hards say and ok it could have looked more original but he still did a great job.
