    Stockpro,

When I got offered 160K, my ask was higher. I lowered my ask and subsequently got offered 155K which was again was lower than my ask. Why didn't I take the money? Lol, it would have been the smart thing to do, but it's just hard to detach myself from the car.

    Used Scud 220 - 225
For the 80k and 4 years not so bad... the key for me would be to use it as a daily driver which the Scud is capable of.

    h2oskier,

I suppose those were good offers but the money wasn't worth getting rid of the car. It's ridiculous but I love that friggin car. I like the way it looks better than the scud and 458. In fact I don't see any car around $200K that I prefer over the CS... well maybe the 6.0 comes close. I'll most likely keep it till I die. That was the plan when I bought it anyway.

I've owned 2 CSs and a Scud. I went from the CS to a Scud and back to a Scud. For me, the difference in money was not worth the extra torque for the reasons many have suggested. For the price difference, you could buy a Lambo Spyder....maybe 2.... :)

I agree and hope you have it for 50 more years. Unlike Stokpro I don't know what you were asking for the car so I was just commenting on the high offers in this climate.

The states that have the sales tax credit applies when trading for a new car purchase only. You can't get the tax credit trading a used car for another used car, I've tried :)

I'm fairly certain the tax credit applies to used cars as well in the state of Washington.

    Drew,

The 160K offer was last spring. The 155K offer was about a month or so ago.

I will end up driving mine often enough to consider it a Daily driver, and would like to think this is possible in a CS...

CS faster than 430 (Fiorano times)
CS limited production, 430 mass produced
CS more beautiful than 430,use the search to find one of the many polls that prove this.
If you desire comfort buy a Rolls Royce
In reality I'm not sure what your spanking... but seriosly the CS takes no back seat to the 430.

    I'd take a CS over a 430, saving my pennies :)

1st point - true if you are a professional. Most of us could prolly drive the F430 at 9/10th alot easier than a CS at 9/10th's. Even if I owned a CS I would probably track once every couple of years.

    2nd point - True.

3rd point - Matter of opinion but I agree.

couple of points you forgot to mention.

F430 - May come with a warranty. The build quailty is superior. The 4.3L has more HP/TQ and the F1 is considered superior. The car is better for long distance trips, wknd trips. The F430 had Carbon Ceramic brakes optional which can be less expensive in the long run.

Personally - As much as I love the CS - I would have a hard time paying more for it compared to a 2006/07 F430.

    just my 2 cents.

Those of you who already have a CS go enjoy it in good health. Those that don't, go buy one. You won't regret it.

    In front of you
Thank you ... some people just don't get it.

It's a Hot Rod ... a Hot Rod Ferrari ... not something put together at a tuner shop or wheel shop ... it's an OEM Hot Rod ... OEM from the Ferrari factory in Maranello ... only a few available ... the ONLY thing comparable is the SCUD

The CS is a special car ... but, only special to those who know ... and please stop comparing it to the F430 ... it a whole different animal

    1. As the Scud is over the 458
    2. Yep. Hard to argue
    3. Opinion. I own both. 430 and CS and MOST people will choose the looks of the 430 over the CS. Sorry guys your Many Polls you choose are on Fchat. Don't get me wrong I think my CS is a beautiful car. The General ( Non F chat ) public will choose the newer F430 over the CS it's reality guys. Newer is better
    4. Don't care about comfort. I own 17 cars only 2 of which are comfortable. Wrong guy to point this out to.
    5. I spank nothing, she does, CS's are Faster around Fiorano great. 430's are better cars to get in and drive to dinner, drive on a long weekend and bring the wife somewhere. Argue that point and you are crazy. My wife will ride in the Scud and CS but would pick the 430 9 of 10 times for a 2 hour drive. F1 shifting in the 430 over the CS is huge. From the Scud to the 430 even more light years. Anyone that drives both regular would have to be smoking something to deny this as well.

For the Money $$$$$$$$ a 2006 430 is a better car than the CS. Sorry to disagree. I'm a realist. Although on this forum most people don't think a Good Ferrari has been made since the 355's so who am I to say. I think they are wrong.

    As I stated above. Thanks

Why is yours parked so much then ? :)

Sorry my CS didn't come with Flames. I suppose I don't have enough seat time anywhere to think it's special. So I'm out of the Know.

You can't help but compare the cars when a Newer car is selling for less. It's an information forum and the OP probably wants to know what else is available in the Ferrari world.
