The F50 is a weird car.

When it's moving on public roads like in the movie above it become one of the most sexy machines on the planet.
When it stands still it look like a bathtub.

I can't think of any other car that "change" that much from standing still to moving.

    I actually agree with you...

It's not really a good looking car but when its on the move it looks great. The targa roof was silly though.

F50 looks sooooo much better in real life. Also, it moved up many rungs in my dreamcar garage after I got to get a ride in one. What an awesome day.

That is a great car, even greater when its out on the road.

I can certify that its the most pampered and carefully kept F50 I have personally ever seen, so far. Anyone who keeps their cars the way you do, is very deserving of them. Your Supercars are lucky to have you!

Seasons Greetings to you & yours.

The F50 will always be the most special car to me because it actually ignited my passion for cars! It was on first page of the first car mag I ever bought. I don't consider it beautiful - it just has tons of charm and charisma. Wonder if the roof is as easy to take on and off as the Carrera GT?

Not even close. Leave it to the Italians to design a removable roof that takes "hours" to remove/install! The dealer will charge three hours to install the roof. Most owners can do it in about two hours. That's still HOURS and not minutes like the CGT roof!

    Wait..what?!?

Did you just say two hours?

    ...as in 120 minutes...or 7200 seconds?!?

    To remove a roof?

Yes. Actually Ferrari bills for 3 hours, and I know this as it was part of the deal when I helped Jeffrey obtain the car.

It's actually to remove the roof, re-install the roll bars, and clam shell. Then you have to remove all the above items and re-install the roof. It's not just a matter of taking it off and on (unfortunately). :)

Well, I can't write in French to sound cool but it's one hell of a car.

How long have you owned it?

You have got to be joking.?!
I wasn't aware it was that complicated! That's absolutely incredible!

Geez, shines another light on issues with F50 ownership doesn't it(along with the digital dash-stiff ride etc..)?

Just when I was psyching myself up to possibly buying one in the future! Mmmmh... got to think about that one again! But it did sound wonderful though....

Wow, I wasn't the only one thinking something similar.

I had only seen static photos and thought the rear wing made the F50 look "rear heavy". When Jeffrey's video was posted last year I thought the dynamic view was magnificent; diminishing the wing's emphsis with a more balanced look.
Also, the flying buttresses had a shape that reminded me of a TR.

In any case the perspective made the viewing completely different.

Thanks for allowing the posting of the video Jeffrey, it truly is a rare view.
