I didn't realize this until I recently purchased and installed the chrome tips for the stock exhaust system from Fabspeed. After installing, it was VERY clear that the factory tips on the passenger side of my 430 do not stick out as far to the rear as the ones do on the driver side... almost 1.5" difference. Upon further inspection, the diffuser also seems to be about 1/4" higher on the passenger side than it does on the driver side. This seems really strange to me. I played with the diffuser and got it a little better... and I just moved the Fabspeed tips out further on the passenger side to make up for the difference, but I was just curious if anyone else had ever run into or noticed these issues. To the best of my knowledge, there was no structural or body damage of this vehicle prior to my purchasing it.... so I'm just not sure. On a side note, I lost a diffuser screw and need a new one, anyone know where I can get some? Thanks!
We have never put a system on a 360 or 430 without having to work on the alignment of the tips. It's normal, don't sweat it.
I have the same problem, about an inch difference and also driver side sticking out more. how do you realign the tips on the 430? bumper has to come off? thanks.
I had the same thing, just took it back to my dealer and they alligned them, took around an hour for them to do, they said they have a template to work from which gets the tips alligned. The other 430 they had in the showroom was the same too John.
