Saturday night I ran into a bunch of exotic owners here in Bali. Outside the restaurant in Seminyak when we arrived were 5 F430 Coupes, 3 911's (1 GT3), a Cayman & a Boxter. I was gobsmacked. Anyone that knows the roads here in Bali can appreciate how difficult it wud be to drive one of those cars here. I got talking to one of them in the bar later and he reckons they get to them up the north of the island where the roads are better & less traffic, and even reaches "6th gear!". I wonder if the cars are ex-Singapore cars, as apparently they're recent imports.

 

Wondering... Any drives in these 2 weeks?

back at last to sunny (relatively speaking) singapore. lung your fboots are safely back with me. wld strongly recommend the ferrari factory tour to all f owners who travel to italy.. quite a well organised n interesting thing with guide + nice memento at end of tour. worth the 2hr drive or train/taxi ride from milan. open to all f owners -just need to arrange thru Ia. kudos to them for arranging the tour for me with just 1-2 days notice. managed to see what i think may hv been a 458 challenge prototype (it had all the usual sponsors livery n no1 on it ) circuiting fiorano. also got to climb into 599xx(complete with roll cage) on the production floor.740 hp supposedly. shld b awesome.

premiums for f cars sure to be up. according to ia they hv had accident fcars come in to the workshop every week for the last 4 weeks.when i renewed my s type r for tpft (not even compre) with 40 % ncb they still quoted 4-5k! leang i think u hv to set up special insurance division for exoticars
