    Hey all,

    Interesting little tidbit for the archives. A recent inquiry re the weight of a couple clips for sale yielded the following results: A steel front clip of a 308 weighs exactly 26.8lbs with primer. A steel rear clip weighs in at 36.1lbs with primer. Considering these early pieces were originally made of fiberglass, I can't see any notable weight savings. But man that is light regardless.

    308 sheet metal:
    The exact weight of the front is: 26.8 lbs.
    The exact weight of the rear sheet metal is: 36.1lbs.
