nice one harold. u going on the 15th? treat T11 like T4 and u will be fine. late entry from T10...its the part from T10 to T11 that leaves most people blind sided.

Yes bro, will be there on the 15 th for sure. weird thing is turn 11 seems so damn big compared to 4... thanks for the tip mate.

Yeah have been told about the transition from 10 to 11 but I think I am pretty careful along that stretch (put another way, I have small ballz) so have not yet got caught out.... I tend to treat it with trepidation like 5 and 6....

its bcos u can c 4 very clearly....4 is on the inclined. 11 is flat n blind. altho 4 is a slightly slower corner, 10 lulls u into going into 11 too hot.

6 and 11 tends to spit people outwards. most of the slides happen there.

actually thats a good point.... i think during my brain fade i just didnt remember 11 and not seeing it added to the problem. So going on 10 it just felt like a nice gradual relatively high speed that suddenly had me by surprise when it transitioned into a much tighter 11 given I forgot where i was.

Interestingly was speaking to Rockstar and he also said that after years of tracking turn 11 can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. For me I really just go in there and aga aga the corner... no idea why but I just sort of go with the flow and dont have an understanding of turn 11 at all yet... come to think of it that also applies to 5, 6, 10... and the list goes on... hahaha

Was really interesting seeing some of the old hats doing 5 for example. For me its all just constant throttle throughout, and winding it out only after the apex of 6. But noticed that the experts hit the brakes just before the apex of 5 to transfer more bite to the front wheels.... shows I really am not taking enough speed from 4 to 5. Man I love this.... so much to learn.....

Also great sitting with Smoothie (aka Frog) and seeing how against all common wisdom he can really pivot a 2wd 911 around Sepangs corners using trail braking.... I do that and SNAP OVERSTEER!!! Really loving figuring out the balance on these machines...
