+1. Same opinion as you ! All the race wins for Schumi and Massa (some podiums for Alonso...), WDC for Schumi or Massa, WCC for Ferrari. We can dream... I think the season will be wide open and not only a Ferrari/Brawn fight. don't forget Maclaren and red bull.
Seems to have been confirmed. http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/57784,sport,other-sport,schumacher-to-make-f1-comeback-with-mercedes
Fernando and Filepe followed by anybody running a Ferrari engine. If they're all out the race, turn it off 'cos it ain't worth watching!.
I couldn't stand Mansell and Prost but when they drove for the Scuderia, they got My support 100%. I wasn't keen on Kimi, but while he was at Ferrari, again, 100%. I cannot stand Lewis Hamilton, but if he ever drives for Ferrari then he will get My support, 100%. You don't ditch your favourite football team and root for the opposition because you don't like the goalkeeper or the quarterback your team has do you?. Schumachers gone so stuff him, hope his engine blows every race!. I support the team, not the players and Ferrari is THE team!
Justin Wilson. (In Indycars) Meanwhile, back in the F1 dope opera: Schumi and Alonso fight it out on track. Button and Hamilton fight it out in the pits. And Massa, out of the mix-ups, runs away with it. Anyone want to start the speculation on what "-gate" Alonso will get into the middle of, this year?
Agree with you about Mansell, Prost, Kimi and Lewis. Alonso - that is different. Dont know why Ferrari have gone the Spygate/Crashgate route but I dont like his ethics and I wont support him. For 2010 it will be Massa and Schumi for me. Split teams seems strange...but WONT support FA...which stands for something else where I come from!!!
I must say I'm very, very surprised to see so many people vote for the ex Ferrari driver rather than the future Ferrari driver. I guess Alonso is about as popular now with most Ferrari fans as Schumacher was in December 1995.
Schumacher - Massa Vettel Kubica Kobayashi Webber In that order. And in 2011, when Kimi is back, he'll top the list again
Why?? Put an A'hole in a Ferrari and he's still an A'hole. Take a nice guy out of a Ferrari and he doesn't magically become an A'hole. (not implying Alonso is an A'hole (although he's not my fav) just making the point that the car does not define the man) I can appreciate the Marque AND the talent as easily as I can chew gum and walk. PLUS....lots of us are in the 40 ish years like Micheal. I race karts and a neck injury kept me from racing this year so it's hard for me not to get behind what he's attempting. Plus - the question was Schumi or Alonso!!! Not Schumi or Ferrari nor was it Schumi or Massa. I suspect those would have garnered different numbers.
I hope Michael does well this year, and even though I'm a HUGE fan of his, I'm a Ferrari fan first, and Alonso did go toe to toe with Shumi and held him off. So I want Alonso to beat to beat him (damn that was hard to say ).
I'm cheering for Ferrari to win the championships and Schmi to get his 100 wins. With three seasons I think he has a good chance of accomplishing that.
Let the best man win regardless of what car he's in! I hope MS does well, and I also hope Ferrari does well. Alonso in a Ferrari does present an enigma, as I think he's brilliant but emotionally flawed. Honestly, my real hope is that no body gets hurt.
I will be rooting for Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher in that order. Michael Schumacher should not have followed Michael Jordan's lead.
There should be an option for Felipe Massa. I hope Felipe Massa wins the WDC in 2010, but given a choice between Alonso and Schumacher I will support Schumacher.
