Ferrari Theft

Man, I know how that feels. I had my F430 stolen just over a year ago.

Sucks to say the least.

Plus, I had to sink a whole boat load of money to get another one. I can't imagine myself without a Ferrari.

They're lucky they got it back.

Forget the car, I'm glad the kids weren't hurt.

But, I have one THAT ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE.
So it's all good now.

 

That is a horrible story, it could have been much worse though. Really glad the kids are alright.

 

The camera business not too good these days? This certainly doesn't sound like the kind of job pros would do. Glad no one was hurt.

 

Wait a second, you had insurance right? and they refused to cover you and you didn't sue? or you lost $200,000+???????

 

I did, I filed a lawsuit, I won but never got my money so I have been looking to take them back to court, it's turned into a HUGE mess and I said the least they could do is pay for the new one. They won't give me a penny. Most likely taking them back. I have talked to several judge's and already say, no matter what I do or what they do, I will be paid. They will be paying for the car I just bought.

Just make sure not to put a hole on the new one like you did with the scud

 

Hey, that's not funny!

I got a call from my lawyer today, they don't want to go to court. They're paying the %#$$ing $220k I payed for the new one. THANK YOU LORD.

That Scud, was the worst thing to ever happen to me. Aside from mine getting stolen.

I won't be putting a $13k hole in my bumper with this one. That's for sure!

 

That is great news! are you going with the 599 or the spider F430?

 

I don't know yet.

Such a hard decision. I want both, but, that won't happen.
I want a GT car that can take long trips yet, when I take to a track, I can still thrash it around.

I like the sound of the 599 better.
It's more comfortable. But, it is rather alot of money.

For now, I'm probably sticking the the 430.

You know, our Family Attorney has long been my Pop's best friend, and vice versa. Though said Attorney/Best Friend was a strong advocate of his Irish Catholic upbringing and faith, some 25 years into their friendship, my Pop "led him to the Lord"... the Baptist way. My Mom even worked for the guy for 10 years until she retired. Great man, and the feeling of respect is mutual.

I still don't think he'd call on Christmas.
