It keeps the auto-watches "winding" so to speak so they always keep time. :D:D

Cheers mate, but I didnt get one with my RM replica. I bought mine the next day after I ordered my watch. I LOVE watches, so I thought I would get an 8 watch winder because I know I am going to fill it up with auto replica's.:eek:

Thanks Jim!! This watch is awesome! I LOVE it! I will stick to the Watch Den, seeing as this RM watch is pretty good quality. I hope the rest they sell are just as good. They certainly look great in the pics on their website. :D:D

    Thanks again! :D:D

Mine is an 8 alright. Can buy them singley, 2 watch, 4 watch and 8 watch are the ones I found online. :):)

I bought mine from Ebay mate. VERY cheap! Only cost me AU $415 delivered to Mount Isa from Sydney Australia. :):)

The watch winder itself was AU $380 and AU $35 postage cost. AU $380 is around US $335. :):)

I looked online for them and was SHOCKED when I saw prices. I found them varying from US $2700 to US $4000 for an 8 watch winder. :(:(

I then thought I would look on Ebay to try and source a used one that was cheaper. I found brand new ones on Ebay Australia and I bought one. :D:D

    Here is the link mate.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Automatic-Watch-Winder-8pc-Black-Luxury-Display-Box_W0QQitemZ320465410759QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Watches?hash=item4a9d3a1ac7

This watch winder is beautiful. It has a high gloss piano black finish and it is amazing. It has white leather inside and a polycarbonate display lid. Also comes with a key to lock the box up. It plugs into the wall and it has 4 settings adjustable by 4 alloy knobs. :):)

Mode 1- 6 minutes time interval for every 2 minutes clockwise winding.

Mode 2- 6 minutes time interval for every 2 minutes counter clockwise winding.

Mode 3- 6 minutes time interval for every 2 minutes counter clockwise winding + 6 minutes time interval for 2 minutes of clockwise winding.

Mode 4- 180 minutes time interval for every 10 minutes of bi-directional winding.

I think I will leave it in Mode 4. :D:D

    My new RM011FM! :eek::eek:

    I LOVE this watch! :D:D

The quality is awesome!! It weighs a tonne!!! It is really comfortable on my wrist, but I have a big wrist and arms mind you. ;);)

Keeps perfect time so far. The strap is made of heavy duty rubber. I dont think I could break it if I tried. I havent tried to see if its water resistant yet. Not game too.:eek:

But its wonderful. I showed a few mates yesterday just after I got it and they also love it. A LOT of questions too as to who is RM. Where did I buy it from?? How much did it cost etc..etc. I told them the truth, of course. :D:D

They had heart attacks when I told them what real RM watches are worth. :p:p

Anywho, at the end of the day I love it. Real or not. Its awesome. Even if I only get a few years out of it I will be happy and I will be sure to buy another one after that. I cant not live without my RM replica from now on!:eek:

Hopefully one day I can afford the real thing. :):)

Some pics, enjoy my friends. :):)

with all due respect.....what RM is actually about is that it's light... :D
so the 'it weighs a ton' argument does not count......

    Cheers mate! :D:D

Get one, they are awesome. :D:D

Merry Xmas to you too brother! :D:D

Thanks buddy. The watch is awesome for the money, trust me. ;);)

I wore it out today/tonite to a mates piss-up. Someone asked about it, then EVERYONE wanted to know about it. Again, I told them it was a replica, but they loved it and they also had a shock when I told them what a real RM is worth.:eek:

The watch winder is awesome!! Just had a look, its ticking along nicely. I put my RM in there again with the other watch. Will check them out again in the morning to make sure they are still keeping time. :D:D

Lol, well man. I just grabbed my stainless steel Guess watch that Nicole bought me a few years ago and the RM watch feels around the same weight. So I guess its not THAT heavy. :p:p

The real RM is made from titanium, this is not. So your real RM is probably lighter than this replica anyways. :D:D

Anywho, I love your watch mate and I love this replica. Hopefully one day I will be able to buy the real thing and when people ask about it I can tell them its a Richard Mille.......

and its the real thing.:eek:

Those things look sweet :) I especially like the Lange. In the pic showing the six of them what is in the top left corner? I thought it might be a Harry Winston, but I'm not sure.

    Great collection, and Merry Christmas!

Thanks, ryankjb! The top left corner one in the picture of 6 would be Montblanc. It was $128 minus the $20 off coupon code they always have, so only $108 delivered! It's one of my favorites. If you go to Montblanc's website you can compare it in accuracy to mine. The right subdial isn't a chronograph like the real one, but other than that, it's about as spot on as can be expected. Very happy with it and all mine. You should order one sometime, they're great!

    And Merry Christmas!

Haha! you're not kidding. Everytime I say I'm done buying for a while, I find others that I *have* to have! Watches are my hobby during the Winter when it's not "car" season. I always buy watches every October - January.

Note: The chinese new year is in February if I remember correctly, and everything shuts down for a good 3 weeks. Starts right around the end of January if I remember. I say this because if you are at that time and want watches, you won't be able to get anything for almost a month. So plan on that - FYI.

Pap: Take a look at the Chopard Mille Miglia watches on that site (you can see I have one in my watch winder on the top), they are great reps close to or almost exactly as the originals that have a racing/car theme. Note the tire tread rubber straps just like the Gens have.

I still think you'd be better off getting a use Rolex or Patek Philippe for the long term.

True dat! However, I find that folks are still asking for a King's ransom for a used Rolex President. :(

Meh! I'll stick to my 7 year old Swatch for now. ;)

I completely agree, but like Bernie said, used Rolex's are still going to be a lot more than $128, and good luck finding a PP for less than $5K.

I just love the style of most watches, and for the price of a timex or a Walmart watch, you can have something that will look beautiful.

And their MECHANICAL watches! Half the fun is knowing they were hand assembled using a couple hundred parts, 300+ for chronographs and knowing that they are beating (balance wheel rotating - you can see it on the watch back) at 21,600 or 28,800 times per hour! For the price, it's just crazy.

I have 4 authentic watches, ask me if the price/enjoyment ratio is the same as the reps? :)

Are you thinking of getting one, ryankjb?
