ya bro..... thats why you will see that whenever going into singapore through immigration for example, we have to turn off all our radios before entering.... and those with handsets will typically put them into their glove boxes... regulations are apparently governed by IDA Singapore. Of course if you go to their website, it sucks and you have no idea what is or isn't allowed. However, the general understanding is that the powerful two way radios we use... more than a couple km range requires some sort of radio licensing.
Now it becomes clear... The sets Perry installs are all export setsand r not IDA approved. However if u get or rent from Radioquip Nick all his sets r locally approved and may be used locally.
Yes got a few handleld sets. Problem is that they were set to the old Ferrari Club frequencies so not the sameas current PCS or other current club channels. I think it can be reprogrammed.
