hahaha... all I know is Perry puts it on 15 on my Kenwood, and its 47 on my handheld. All Leang needs to do is go through all the channels on the radio he uses and see when he can connect up with one of our radios on the emergency... and voila.... he will have communication with us. Its a standard distress channel that all radios have... and can be easily found. So in reality he doesnt need to get a radio with a recent P Club or F Club frequency....

Whenever I go on a drive with guys that dont have a radio with the club frequency I have always managed to tie in with them if we both go to the emergency channel...

 

The Vertex handheld that I have only has 15 fixed channels.
