    Hi guys,

Just wondering what the clutch wear should be for a Carrera GT with 3,000 miles?

One of my friends is asking and I don't have a clue. The previous owner drove it like an old man.

If he is the average CGT owner he will never have to replace it. :) According to the dealer I talked to it should be good for 20K plus dependent on driving style. Keep in mind, it is very easy to misuse the clutch in that car. It doesn't like being feathered.

New clutch is something like 31mm. Porsche says anything under 28mm is toast. With 3k miles that particular CGT should have plenty of life left. I'd say closer to 30mm. But its all dependent on past usage.
