yup... and one of those 15 will be the emergency frequency... tied in with Leslie's Vertex with 15 channels last drive back from Sepang on the emergency... every radio will come programmed with the universal emergency frequency. Which number this is on various radios will obviously be easier to find on the guys with less channels on the radio.... will pull out the exact frequency number as Perry passed it to me last time.
Mate, thing to look out for is whether or not you need to install a hand piece in the end as Perry usually installs the mic on the roof coming near the rear view mirror. As yours is a convertible he will be able to put it there but I am wondering if the noise of the wind buffeting off the roof at high speed on N-S which is largely where the talk cock sing song happens will interfere too much with the sound quality...
and with the roof down you can pretty much forget about any of the rest of us hearing you. Also as yours is a convertible, seriously consider getting two speakers instead of a single speaker. It will help tremendously with hearing others in your car AND you can listen to two channels at once... I do this whenever I am running with two groups at once... last time I had PCS on one channel and my friends on another private channel.... really really handy if we want to keep certain conversations "private"...
hahaha... you are kidding.... this is a very, very small world!!! We must catch up with him soon.... he used to be my drinking kaki as well....
i also used to play squash back in uni...forced into it by my dad who was super active playing squash for Monash... till my elbow literally gave up on me... hence the passive sport of triathlons now just to keep my heart ticking!!! what a great game it was....
hahaha.... think you guys would run circles around me. Was never the weight of the rackets... used the wilson profiles that were pretty damn light in their day and stiff and powerful... but got severe tennis elbow/tendonitis that went down after major doses of steroids.... pretty much couldnt use my right arm for anything for 6 months.... aint going back down that route
Will get in contact with Peter and organise a drink. I haven't seen him for many years and really hope he is doing well. Will let you know so you can join us. Last I saw him he had got rid of the 964 and just bought the Golf I think...
