Heh,i tried driving the phantom 1 time,by the end of the drive,my face turned green(same as after i drove the murcie)(Price tag issue i assume)! It's super stressful. It makes people who are big looks small. Well,should just be driven in it !Instead of driving Jon,you going for the 560 SL launch? What time if yes?
Oops missed yr msg. It's quite pricey new but u can get used ones for about $1.6-8k. Malaysia is cheaper for new so it make sense to buy it there. I first experienced this semi-pro lens on loan from Tiong's wife & I'm impressed. I might even buy a D90 becos of this lens! Let me find some of my early pics from this lens to show u.
Get the drophead convertible dude. Now that's a class act! Our Bobby sold his Murcie for this only to buy another Lp640. I suspect that the SL launch is just another clay model preview which is not worth it but a good time for GTG with other owners. Best time to view will be the official launch @ Sepang etc where u can drive it!
I heard it will be official.With the car being wrapped up. Well,as for the dhc,its too costly,my dad's partner PIed phantom is already very hard to drive,took it out for a few days.Its scary man,its so stretched.So i assume the DHC will be also out of the question as it is too big for me..
i know it's a good lens. been thinking about it. just the price that's too much. with that amount i rather invest in a lighting system.

hahaha. same here. and she hates cars... looks like getting a sofa anytime soon is disappearing for me... her condition is unless I get rid of the porker.... which is a fat no no for me. She also brought up the point that I only have a garage for two cars.... but there is always the apartment I told her... to which she responded that's where I will spend more time if I get a sofa...
