    I figured we'd kick 2010 off right by going karting next Wednesday (1/6). We should have enough turnout to do lap races again too. We'll plan on starting our race around 7 pm and if there is enough interest we can run again after that as well. Looking forward to running with the group again and having some fun. Hope to see some of you out there!!

    It's been so long since my last race I don't even remember where Xtreme is any more.
    Okay, I have about a week for my memory to return. I'll somehow figure it out!! :)

    I'm in, Just need to loose those extra 10lbs I added over the Holidays! +10lbs = -0.5 second slower each lap, which I can do without next to you speed demons!

    For those that haven't been there in a while, they have a new device installed on the karts to cut out the gas when you hit the brakes. At first it seemed awkward but once you get used to it you can run as as fast as before, just have to use a different strategy. In talking with the crew there they have noticed a massive increase in brake and tire life after the change.

    ***UPDATE***

    Xtreme booked an event at the track that ends at 7:15 on Wednesday. We'll probably start racing around 7:30 if all goes well. I'll be there between 7 and 7:15 to start the signup process for our race and get us in the queue.

    Really wish I was closer! I've been wanting to go back and my birthday is tomorrow night, so this wouldve been a great early present :(
