I'd prefer something without the seconds at 9:00 but there are so many variations with Panerai that you could drive yourself nuts. This rep is getting great reviews, it's from a trusted dealer and the price is right considering it has a few upgrades. Pulling the trigger shortly I think.

 

No I don't think so either! There are much cheaper reps out there - similar watches can be had for ~$79 on up - but this one has been slightly modified with better lume, a nicer crown guard and a longer cannon pinion to get the right appearance to the hand stack. For another $40 I can get sapphire crystal and when you go up to $400 you get a nicer crown and stem, a different dial - which there is some very anal discussion about and a swan neck movement. I think I'll be quite happy with the $200 version.

I think the key redarding replica watches is the movement...a Swiss made ETA movement should last for years. I have a non replica with an ETA movement that I bought in 2000 and it still runs fine...gains a bit, but not an issue for me. I have seen some Rolex Replicas that are very close to 1:1... these are Explorers and Subs...anything more elaborate, is not convincing...that being said, you can buy a O&W branded watch that resembles a Sub or an Explorer for about the same dollars that is truely water resistent to the indicated depth...where most replicas are not.

In general, my thought is buy what you like and enjoy itif its a replica, so be it.

I ordered a replica of a $130,000 limited edition watch. We'll see if it actually shows up & the quality of a "non-swiss" replica. I know it's not going to be exact, but am more comfortable that way (ie - it's not a counterfeit).

Id get a few other watches and a Ferrari for those dollars.

I'm still waiting for a tracking number... so far I'm not enjoying this adventure

 

I wouldnt stress too much mate.

Last time AND this time I recieved tracking numbers from them and they dont work.

I emailed 'Sarah' to enquire and she replied telling it works when she punches the tracking number in on her computer. So perhaps I am/was doing something wrong?

I dont know and it doesnt matter. I got my RM watch and I should have this Panerai one very soon.
