V8 with 480 HP minimum , 6 Speeds, all carbon fiber
Very very light car may be 800 Kg

The version you speak of was announced over a year ago. To bad they didn't stuff an Enzo engine into it as they spoke of in 03.

 

i hope it is befitting of the "tz" designation...

 

I also hope that the new car will be befitting of the TZ name...but fear that it'd just another marketing exercise. For a starter, I highly doubt that anyone would seriously contemplate using a tubular chassis!

The 8C, the Brera and the Mito all show (IMO) that Alfa can design and build gorgeous modern cars.

Great to see another performance Alfa on the way and even better to see one from Zagato.

 

Just curious if this car was developed with Messr. Bogaerts or with Jack Habits, or did you have any input as to its gestation?

no news on a TZ3 yet......but who knows maybe they will be showing something at the Geneve Show 2010 ?

Yes, and there is a third that should be added the Iso Marella, also designed by Zagato.

Marella Zagato is Piero Rivolta's daughter, Both Marella and Andrea run Zagato.

Bogaerts was one of the investor approch to finance the TZ3 but like many times, talking is easy. Opening the cheque book is more complicate.

 

That Zagato is one of the best looking cars Ive seen in over a decade...just gorgeous (except for that one inlet in front of the front wheels)

I wish Ferrari could design something like that

 

Alfa is on a roll with their 'newer' designed cars!!!

 

That last couple of photos are probably more in line with what the next Ferrari Zagato will look like, not the Alfa. Atleast it is getting more of a classic Kamm tail now, more Zagato than the last all rounded tail.
