Hi Jim, No I know that, I thought the recent gold Ferrari actually did a fairly decent job of replicating the old gold car with its features. Maybe I dont know what Im talking about but i saw a picture of an old gold Classic Ferrari I thought this was based on. Merry Christmas to you Jim, hope you and family had a wonderful time. Regards, Matthew
Hey Jim, which of your incredible collection of cars will you be bringing down to Palm Beach this year for Supercar weekend?
In before '20 volunteers to take one of Jim's cars to Palm Beach' arrive. Just wanted to add I enjoy keeping up with all your contributions here on FChat Jim. Thanks! >8^) ER
Hello Jim, I was today at a client house for testing the 458 Italia and I've seen this nice picture in his garage, do you know it ? If you are interested I'll try to make a better photo next time ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
If Jim is a kajillionaire as claimed in the stories about him, then he must've made all of his money on Kajiji I thought he had some modest success in the film industry and the markets. Hmmm. Cheers-Colin Firth-Ontario Canada
That is a super-fantastic photograph!!! Reminds me instantly of that feeling I had as a boy seeing some similar four-wheeled wonders. >8^) ER
Jim, Just out of curiosity, since building P4/5, have you ever wanted to add a "normal" Enzo back into your collection, since the P4/5 is so different. Or are you not that kind of collector? I ask because, as much as the P4/5 is awesome, and I love the way it looks, I do still love the stock Enzo. That said, should I have the ability, I may be tempted to buy another Enzo, for either when I wanted to revert, or if I wanted to drive one of them but for some reason didn't want to risk the health/safety of P4/5. Thanks, Matt
My collecting interests are mainly 60ies and older. I drive all of my cars regularly and while being as careful as I can don't worry about it. P 4/5 has almost 8K miles including about 2K hard Track/ Historic Targa Florio miles. Once the road salt is out I put them away until the spring rains have washed the roads clean but rock chips have never bothered me. Best
So is it the Alfa Romeo 8C you're driving at the moment? And any temptation to change it for a Ferrari 458? Also... which of your collectable cars do you look forward to driving most after the the roads are salt-free? All the best, Andrew.
I like my Daily 8C very much and will stay with her for a while. I really enjoy driving all of my cars and try to drive each one at least every two weeks. Cheers
You are being somewhat modest here. The real answer should be: "Why buy another car that comes in second in so many categories to one you already have?" >8^) ER
