    Instead of having to slam sagging doors, once the door is properly aligned and the latch mechanism cleaned and lubed, the doors close with a click from a gentle one finger push and free swing from only open 4".

    A well aligned door with all interior trim properly secured can't be beat. Over time, I have noticed that the door trim screws begin to make their way loose. I inserted new factory correct screws and properly tightened them. I then relubed the latch mechanisms. That, along with my correctly aligned doors, makes a wonderful clunk sound with minimal closing and opening effort. The doors feel much more solid and almost have a Mercedes like quality to them now. Since the door latch mechanisms are the first thing anyone interacts with when enjoying their first time in a Ferrari, getting it just right is integral to imbuing the passenger or admirer with a sense of quality.

    Agreed its worth it and something I'm struggling with right now. Any tips on how you get to that nirvana-like state of "properly aligned"?

    Have several thicknesses of shim stock available to shim the bottom hinge, cut and fit, trial and error. Mine needed .018" to be exact, .020" was too much by a slight amount on the Pass door, only .010" was needed on drivers door.
