Hello. Im new to this forum. A few months ago saw a vanquish in a showroom near KK hospital. Does anyone have any pic of that car?
i was actually there last night! got lost looking for joo chiat walk; turns out it's at mike's neck of the woods and not little china. you live and you learn. ass-ton?
Yes, on the leftside of the shophouses along the road & abt about 100m from the x-junction of East Coast Rd where u'll see Katong Mall. Had it @ abt 3am some months ago. So so. Dark sauced soup. Has an open carpark right in front for 10+/- cars so worth a trip if u guys like some drive+sight seeing. These days, JC is not as happening since most of them moved to Geylang main rd. On lah, tonight? I'm heading to Kluang this weekend for a wedding, they have some interesting food up there & just a quick 45mins from 2nd link.
I didn't really look at the tech spec sheet next to the car, but I can give my impressions of the interior. The centre console and dashboard display are really well crafted and look very stylish. The leather seats are supple and quite firm, but I'd have preferred softer seats. Some of the parts are taken right off a 7 series though, like the seat adjustment buttons and the boot buttons. Both front doors come equipped with umbrellas, but I found that the doors were quite difficult to open, especially the rear doors. The rear doors can also be closed via button press, it's kinda similar to the thing that quite alot of taxis feature these days. As I've previously mentioned, oddly enough, the interior felt slightly claustrophobic compared to a long wheel base 7 series, but it was certainly alot more luxurious in general. The car featured sheepskin floor mats and the rear left seat AKA the boss seat could move the seat infront of it. The rear seats also have an lcd display and food tray infront of them, much like an aeroplane seat. All in all, I'd say it's a really luxurious car, but not that much of an upgrade over a 7 series, A8 or S class if we were judging the car by its interior.
It was quite a sight esp when you see mountains almost touching the streams...... Allow me or Mike to organise a Nite Tour De JC....
I agree with you! What you have stated is pretty much what we both discussed when we were in the backseat of the Ghost! I really wonder why the interior feels smaller as the platform for the Ghost should be same as the long wheel base 7 series right? The Ghost fine touches are definately much more luxurious than the 7 series, A8 or S class but if what you want is big space than its not.
