PM me :) no promises though...

I am currently having some serious software problems, but I'd gladly give it a shot if I can get their stupidly complex program to agree with itself enough to run.

If my install has self destructed and I am unable to help, you may try the architecture/engineering forum.

If anyone else has experience, the problem is this:
I start AutoCAD 2009, and less than a second later the program freezes completely.
No amount of reinstalling will help, and there are no error messages to help identify the problem. This behavior would irritate me on a free app such as firefox, but when dealing with software as expensive and needlessly convoluted as this, I begin to lose brain cells.

I do CAD drafting with Rhino. As to your freezing up problem, one of the major causes of high end CAD/Graphics software malfunctioning is video driver problems and graphics cards not able to handle the demands of the software. Every time software is upgraded, the system requirements change and the software needs more and more graphics power. I would make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card first.

Depending on what you would like I should be able to help.

I can use SolidWorks or Inventor or AutoCad if you'd prefer 2D

What do you need? I do Adobe Illustrator & CorelDraw 3D look pretty well. That's what I use for medical illustation on the job.
