In the case of yr car nothing. get used to it. sit in my rs some time. along certain stretches of the north south at speeds of around 270kmh the rear end is feeling every dip in the road.... its feedback mate... you need to know what the car is doing all the time and the car is just communicating that back to you better than your other cars did.... if it makes you feel uneasy get a set of Moton Clubsports. they are fully adjustable for rebound as well. Alternatively get a bigger rear wing and one that is adjustable for slip angle. Additional downforce created at the rear will settle the backside. Espace adjusted the rear wing on my car and it created massive improvements in high speed stability on the rear.... and surprisingly not at the expense of weightiness at the front....

Hahaaa! Thats because I'm confuse too! With the fully adjustable coil-overs, I just tell Gary what I'm currently feeling and what I want and they will get it adjusted. ;)

I'm sure people also gave way when you were in the Murcie!!! Thats one firece machine!

Bro, I remember you though your ex gallardo was too bright so you went with a dark colour murcie, hence was surprise you went with a bright colour again! So how now?

Jon, there you go. However the best is first hand experience! I went to look Gary, spend some time at Exquisite Marques, first they adjusted the compression for me to feel the effect of the change and next the rebound. :)

Mate, come down as well for the BMWSG track day....I am bringing my X5 to Sepang for that day.... seriously...I have already informed the organiser. its underpowered, it has ridiculous 23 inch rims but I just want to know what its all about. I love the way it handles on Singapore roads and just wanna see what it feels like at slightly higher stress levels....

Mate, unfortnately stock shocks cannot simply be adjusted for rebound and compression. That requires revalving of the shocks themselves- and a trip back to the manufacturer and knowing exactly what you need in terms of set up matched perfectly to the spring rates currently on the car... its a freaking science. The only other way around this is as previously mentioned to get shocks that are specifically made adjustable for compression AND rebound.... not many after market shocks offer this... again if one doesn't know exactly how to set it up they can end up with a car that handles like the dogs balls..... Fong.... care to add?

Aiyah. Bkt here very tempting lah, not to mention bryani, roti chennai blah blah blah

    O that char siew!

Understand bro but what surprises me is that it was superb for lousy roads. I've been in "hard" cars before & they are hard everywhere but this guy's a little strange. I'll continue to monitor.

Yeah boy. I was hungry for a yellow car, never had one in this but well, at least it puts a smile on my face everytime I approach it :)

Anyway, been on contact with Gary everyday. He's trying to poison me with all the exhausts & bodykits. :(

Hahaha! exactly my thoughts mate :D

& I actually just spent $3K for tinting & protection film. Arghhhh

Jon, Leang is right... you need to do your own research on this.... in the end you will realise its no quick fix... Porsche have spent a lot on R&D to get the car right.... for us to fiddle with this could be a recipe for disaster.... get onto Rennlist and 6speed.... do a search on Moton's, rebound etc... a lot of racers there.... you will soon realise unless you really know what is happening you could dig a big hole.

Try talking to Weng mate... he knows this stuff intricately, and Espace sets up all his cars.... they may be able to steer you in the right direction....

x5- i had a 4.4 with hamann rims n exhaust. shld b a blast on the track(or off!) was privileged to get a ride on a cayenne turbo round sepang from a german porsche world instructor. talk about controlled slide- a barrel of laughs- guess any car can be tracked- question of wringing out the limits of the car-

Dont worry, with the sticker jobs these days can easily change clothes whenever you want! ;)

Hahaaa! Yeah, do some personalisation and modification. You will probably go back into the past where you get to fiddle around your car very often! More over Porsche parts much more reasonable than Ferrari and Lambo.

Tinting and protection film need $3K? Lucky I dont like to do protection film.

yeah mate.... 997TT does not have them fitted standard.... he will need to buy a set if he wants to do this or have his existing shocks revalved...
