I used to run Moton Clubsports which are double adjustable. I also run Ohlins Flag-R which are triple adjustables.

I spent alot of time fiddling the Motons and they work well. However, for non track use, just keep away from the DOuble/Tripe Adjustable...too much issues.

Adjusting the suspension isnt as simple as playing with rebound/compression/stroke. It also the camber plates, the double thickness hollow bladed style adjustable anti roll bars, full rose joints.
Not as simple as it seems.

    BTW, GOOD MORNING

which comes back to the whole question of "soul"...

It seems that among some of us, porkers are seen as having insufficient (or no) soul while ferraris/lambos are seen as having a lot of (too much) soul. in an ideal world, we should be so lucky to own one of each BUT we very often end up having to make a choice.

i loved my porsches: i could go on a three week business trip, come home, hop into my car, turn the ignition and off i go. no problem. i could make numerous short trips, turning the ignition on and off, no problem. i can drive the car to hdb carparks, basement carparks, unlicensed carparks (eg. grass verges), no problem. indestructible machines.

i loved my ferraris: the first thrill in the morning when i fire them up and the exhaust waking the neighbours; downshifting on the highway and hearing the engine blip and getting the surge of power; little boys by the side of the road gaping and giving you the thumbs up. the ultimate in evocative branding and marketing.

BUT if you could only have one? I guess the pragmatic would say porker while the romantic would say ferrari. don't get me started on astons (that way lies trouble...)

    5km.

    absolutely ...

on a pcs factory visit once, we had a bunch of cayenne's available for us to chuck around their factory track ... following an instructor ... these suv's r so easy to drift ... the tail happily came out at the slightest provocation ... but easy to control ...

You talking about cars or WAGs?
Sounds like marriage. Steady, compliant, uneventful, reliable, not exciting.
Compared to having a "manjah" girlfriend, who is needy, exciting, eventful and rebellious.

Like Des and many other brudders here I have had the previlege of owning/driving many of these cars... and I don't think there is "The One" that I would like to have for the rest of my life. I would look at at my cars like a balance sheet... "As of Jan 1st 2010" which ones did I like for the last year.
But my all time favourite car is the next one I am going to get. :)

Er, actually of late. I've not been studying about the cars that I bought, it was all emotional! I did it in less than 5 mins on this one without a test drive.... well, I always figured that half the world owns it so it shouldn't be that bad right :D

    Well, it's quite nice actually.

Now that I have some time up here, I'd like to look into it now but seems that that someone who understands suspension & tweaking it is yet to be found on this island. If only there's a specialist workshop on suspension alone. Will buzz u for Espace contact that you've highly recommended.

Am all ready to meet you guys here. I'll need to learn all over again in an automatic+turbo car.

Leang, I remember that u mentioned there was a workshop in KL that does this including corner weighing, alignment etc. Care to share where's this again?

Ah, just like sex. Now I get the idea :)

    Thank u!

Nice one there. Many good works.

Bro, I think the next level u should head for now is look into multi layered blending etc.

Some guys take few readings+exposures for subject & background etc then stitch everything in place for the perfect picture. Very tedious job, it's 30% photography & 70% software, these people spend up to 12hrs to edit one pic! I'm not ready for that but the way I see it, it's a must to make a living on this.
