guess with the world the way it is, u cant blame manufacturers from trying to get a bigger slice of the pie by broadening their range beyond their traditional areas of forte. so long as they keep coming up with pure driving oriented extreme models to showcase their pedigree , guess we cant complain -open top driving? 16M or 458 spider (surely in the pipeline)

The thing that makes Porsche unappealing to me is how they all look the same. Ferrari makes some hits and misses in the looks department but at least you can count on something new each time.

 

I totally agree with you, Jon, and I will also go with the Cali (pretty obvious to most of you who know me). Don't get me wrong cos I think the 911 is a timeless beauty, but every new Porsche model these days just seems to be an update/derivative of the 911 which gets a bit bland after a while. The 928S4 is still one of the most beautiful cars in my opinion and I used to fantasize a lot about it in my younger days. The sexy, round ass just makes you wanna hump it hahaha... It still sends shivers down my spine whenever I see the occasional car on the road. Porsche should seriously think hard about doing something similar and non-911 in looks, whether or not they want to compete with Ferrari/Lambo directly.
