    I notice RTA NSW custom plates can be up to $1000 kick off (once off + annual) so been a while since last checked prices and they weren't THAT high before..

    Must be why some good names thought would be taken are still available, so higher entry prices must have dampened rampant speculators and hoarders.. a good thing!

    Yesterday saw on St Kilda Rd: Vic [111] on a new gunmetal SL, owner had the badges off so I have no idea what it was, however the styling seemed somewhat more aggressive and had a small lip spoiler so it may probably have been an AMG/Black series version.. why people take the badges off I'm not too sure why..

    They normally take the badges off to make people think their base model is the top of the model range. Perhaps not in this case though!

    Vic Roads has a bank of heritage plates they have had for decades. They have been selling them off for a while now. Not many left I am told.
