T15 for RWD cars...i observed its best outside to apex to outside. its a perfect U shaped. for the lambo its a late apex. learnt this when i went to the rome lambo academy. the 4wd gives u superior grip under trail braking...n u can throttle out faster in the late apex. i hv measured exit speeds using both n its true. thing is i cant drive manual...n i dun wanna learn. haha
Hmm! I think it looks good bro.. then again.. i would choose a lambo over a F any day.. except for a f40 or Enzo.. lol
yeah, how come he didn't get the usual transmission problems? Sat with Vex and he did some scorchers as well... but also had trans getting all nice and warm. Race fuel???? What tires was he using bro?
what colour are you getting, please say grey with red graphics? That will be a stunning car... WOW WOW WOW... you taking it to the track? if not I may be keen to look at it the day you decide to let it go
im not sure what tires but SS a workshop call limtan....10 cars only i heard. will hv some space on track to do nice runs i hope.
thats the thing mate.... only the hardcore will know the "special ones"..... thats why not great for showing off.... just for the self pleasure....
10 cars???? you are killing me man!!! I would definitely be going if not for the trip...Darn!!!! bro pls keep me informed of any other track days. I want to hit up as many as possible but only those with max 25 cars attending.....
hahaha... yeah I don't dare for fear of stepping over the the dark side... but seriously bro.... I just love the robust practical nature of the german beetles.... i couldn't bring myself to treat a scud with the same roughness that I do the beetles.... they are too beautiful and.... too expensive if something breaks!! maybe one day when the piggy bank is large enough i will pick one up.... it would be great to have one alongside the RS bro.... one day maybe... that would be pure heaven.... two top shelf track cars.... I would be living a freaking dream.... and at Sepang every week!!!
ya sure...i hv signed up for this fridays. 27th bmw im going too...but smoothie dun allow me to attend porkys TD...there shud be at least 10 a yr to go.
sorry dude ... but cannot agree ... great car to drive, but nowhere near as reliable on track as a porker ... & i'm talking from personal experience mate ...
but i dun really hv issues with mine. i do about 25 to 28 laps each time. n i only change oil, front pads brake fluids each time. i know porkers r ultra reliable.
Who knows of a good polisher/detailer that can come to my place to bring the old RS up to perfect (well with a lot of stone chips) condition? My maids cleaning has finally taken its toll and the car is covered in fine scratches that make the car look like its covered in a milky film!!! Anyone who can direct me to a good guy... I am all ears... but not the zymol super expensive guys please.... willing to pay upto say 400 bucks for a good one off detailing.... Think I owe it to the old work horse.... its looking decidedly unloved.... and I sure aint respraying it any time soon...
call smoothie. he will recommend u one. im using him too. cheap n good. unfortunately i dun store his number....always ask smoothie for it. 100bucks. but i give him more. ask jack for full story. hehe
yup going PCS and BMW, also have a private Thai Porsche Club gathering in May as well as PCS in May that same morning (7 hours of tracking in one day!!!- le mans 24 hour man.... hahaha). Any more good ones I am all for. Can we attend the Eurosport/Lambo track days? Bro Lung... how about Ferrari Club track days as prospective owners... hahahaha...
