While the engine was out of my coupe I decided to have Steve Kouracos (Surface Masters) detail the chassis. He promised the world,....and delivered. Great job.

    1) High pressure steam cleaning of the chassis
    2) Degreasing of chassis
    3) Sanding and Scotch Brite
    4) Painting of chassis, suspension members, undercarriage, etc.
    5) Painting of splash guards
    6) Removed deck lids and painted under side fresh black (felt on the rear trunk)
    7) Removed the radiator and detailed out the front bonnet section, chassis, etc.
    8) Dismantled the radiator fans and painted blades, painted the motors
    9) Cleaned every inch of rubber - window seals, etc.
    10) Cleans wheels - look like new
    11) Painted black section under car
    12) Color sanded exterior

Steve promises a great deal, but delivers. Price is fair. Steve also did Jon G.'s car.

Engine back in next week. Now detailing fuel distribution (pumps, filters, etc.), ground electrical contacts, hand brake mechanism, half-shafts, etc.

Jim, Thankyou very much for your positive comments. I enjoyed working on your Dino very much. I would say we did a light to medium preservation. I don't think this car will ever see a restoration because it's in such good shape. After you dropped off the Dino and I got it up in the air I must say I was very impressed in the originality and how nice your car is. I didn't detect any rust through on any panels or chassis. A little surface rust in areas like lower rockers which is tytical on Dino's, which was easily rectified. I am very glad that I could add value to your very original car. I also want to mention, it was great to bring life back to an original nitros cellulose paint job.

You truly have a very rare Dino. I'm humbled you selected me to work the surface on such a beauty. There aren't very many out there like this one. Thank you.

    Best Regards,
    Steve

p.s. I have a lot of before and in progress photographs that I will get to you ASAP. It's up to you to provide the aftershots...
