"Mid January (2010), FI will carry out its 1st 'Concours' $12,500, 2 week, Flagship Detailing Service" Yeah, definetly was $12.5k. 4 guys working for 150 hours they reckon I couldn't imagine the pain and boredom of cleaning a car with cotton wool buds. Does look great though
Bloody hell!! That equates to around $83 an hour. ($12,500 over 150 hrs) Not too bad really as I assume that includes labour AND materials used. That did a fantastic job none the less!
Oh yeah, thats the reality. And if you divide $12,500 by 4 blokes...............that is $3125 each for 10 days of work detailing a Ferrari icon, the F40.
In the world of detailing isn't there some hellishly expensive gear at the top end of town that they use? You know, like the nipple grease of a red peruvian beetle which squirts 3 drops only on Sundays and they need a gallon of it etc. Don't forget the materials cost, not just "supercheap autocare detergent" I'm betting lol.
$17,000 a tub in 2006 according to this http://www.zdoau.com/about/newsview.php?id=42&sid=2 I guess if you have some ultra-collectable sits in museum.. but on road car?
On the website they mention the $10k package but they also have more reasonable priced packages http://www.finalinspection.com.au/auto-detailing/exterior-detailing.html Also they have this $750 tub http://www.finalinspection.com.au/store/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=106
And the sexual favours involving PP's gimp suit - hahaha get those mental images out of your head now. I reckon it's a job for our Mario, anyhoo.
