Congrats! Based on the trees, it appears that you are in a warm climate and should be able to enjoy it immediately. Wait size wheels are those? They look larger than 16" to me.
he's in NY and he never drives his car(s) in the rain (more likely in snow as well). Pics of the car http://www.vuvox.com/collage/detail/01d0c077c0
Pretty Vetroresina! I'm sure you and the chiwawa will miss that car. Eight years ago, today, I drove my Vetroresina home from the independent dealership on Long Island to New Jersey....in a sleet and snowstorm! Michelin XWXs are decent snow tires. I didn't take any pictures that day, but here's my GTB in the showroom... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you buy the car out of Indy? Looks the same. How is it? Does it run well? He was really dropping his price.
My bad. That's why they make the parents and babies in hospitals wear matching ID bands, so you know who belongs to who. But it sounds like the new baby will make it's foster parents happy. lol
I saw your ad on Ebay. Cavallino just upped there value to between $45-65,000. One of the few cars that actually went up in value recently. The increase was probably due to some recent sales I saw. I know you have said that you had offers of over $30k due to the car having some needs. Its fair to say that $45k would get you a nice sorted driver and $65k the best car around.
Rammer, It's fair to say that Cavallino says that $45k would get you a nice sorted driver and $65k the best car around. The actual car market works differently. Barry
In what way is "real life" different than Cavallino? The car featured in this thread is not running and has not run in 6 years. It needs work according to his Ebay ad. The motor does turn over. But it needs a major service, Steering colum work, AC work, paint work, among other things. If everything goes well this car can be back on the road for about $10k. I just tuned my car and got the horn working (15 hours of service) for about $1900. I had a major service done less than two years ago and that was $3400. Things add up and chances are that they will if he takes it to proven specialist such as Tim Stanford. If you see his Ebay ad, you will see people showing interest and making offers over $30k. It shows that there is big interest in the glass cars.
To protect the buyer, I will not disclose the exact selling price. I could tell you that the price was very close to my ebay price. I know the car would be taken care of by the new owner (in addition to his other collections). I sold the car to get an Exige (also fiberglass body with aluminum frame which I have been wanting for about a year now Years from now, the value of the exige will drop while the glass car will and will retain its value for sure More pics attached Bb Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Why the unhappy face? What am I missing? Wait-a-minute - - - do you mean someone else is the new owner? Wait-a-minute - - - Do you mean someone else is hte new owner? In that case, terribly sorry.
