I love both cars but the seats are meant for someone who weights 120 pounds and has zero bodyfat.

They were designed for Italian drivers, as Enzo had intended :)

I have no problem with them and I would not call myself "svelte".

try sitting in a LOTUS and tell me this :)

my opinion, the smaller the better, one of the things I miss most about my Elise and Esprit v8 are the small interiors.. makes the car appear more exotic..

exotics in my opinion (used) to be small inside.. try sitting in a Testarossa and compare it to a 360.. the 360 is actually too roomy for my taste..

Or a 308/328... I always thought the 360 had lounge chairs and room for a coffee table.

I agree with your comments about interiors.

Ferrari offer you the option for small, medium, large seats to the best of my knowledge.

The sport seats are tight in the shoulders (that's what they're designed to be). I am big-boned and rather comfortable in my 360 Daytonas. I am 6'3" and am tight on head room. Heck, I am tight in head room in my Quattroporte.

the suprising thing to me is how narrow the "large" cs seats are...
like how small the xl shirts are at the ferrari store in rome !!

I'm suprised to hear this, 360/430 has the most interior room of all the sports cars I have had, and there have been a bunch!

By the time a guy can afford a Ferrari usually he out of the 8th grade. (Last time I weighed 120) having said that mine is comfortable and I am 5'11" 205. You could probably have the seat modified to fit you by a good interior man.

I Actualy prefer the interior of the gallardo.. it's smaller.. not as tight as the esprit.. but closer.. I really like a cramped interior in my supercars..

the 360 is smaller inside... but I would have preferred it even smaller.. maybe 10-20% smaller

LOL, that's funny. I bought a L Ducati polo shirt and it fit me like a M. I gave it to a friends 9 yr old boy. I guess you have to estimate Euro sizing.

OK if you buy a brand new Ferrari probably can get the seats customized for us wider fatter guys. But if you are shopping for a used F430 you are stuck. I do find the seats bigger and more comfortable however in the F430 Scuderia! So I may get a Scud as its more track oriented and looks better than the normal F430. I do track events in my M3 which doubles as my daily driver car.

Whats funny is the Lambo seats are bigger wider and more comfortable than the F430 or 360 for that matter. I guess its because Lambo is more of a GT car than a pure track race car like the F430.

My impression on this old tread is that the F430 has the most uncomfortable seats for someone 200lbs size 44 jacket. I had the opportunity today to have a 360, a 430 and a 458 side by side and compare their seats (Daytonas). The 360 felt big, lounge like compared to the extremely narrow 430 seats. The best compromise was the 458's seats IMO. Comfortable, supportive, etc. Do the 430 seats give a little with age?? This car only had 2300 miles that I sat on and was basically brand-new. The 360 had over 10k miles. Curious to hear thoughts on this guys, considering adding a 360 or 430 in the near future but I have to fit comfortably! :)

The F430 seats are awful. Have never gotten used to them. The INTERIOR of the car, itself, is quite spacious as it is wide but that doesn't make it comfortable.

Im 6'5" and 205 lbs. I can honestly say that the F430 seats are the best seats that I have ever sat in in ANY car. Im sure a lot has to do with my height, but I think they are fantastic.

FWIW there is a major difference between the F430 and 458 seats, with the 458 seats being quite a bit wider. In comparing the Daytona versions of both models it seems that the center section of the F430 is narrower than the 458. I find both comfortable and supportive.

I am 5'10" and 200 lbs. 360 Daytonas are very comfortable.

2011 Porsche Boxster S seats not so much. the back is so hard had to put a cushion back there so I can stand it. The heated and air conditioned seats work great. The back is just too hard. No problem with the 360 seat.
