Does anyone know how much/many/% of original parts are on this car? Or the history of it? Ciao!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good question. Looks like the answer can be found here: http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/cardetail.php?reqcardir=FE-512M-1034
do you have the ebay link? 2007 the car was offered in red. why did they repaint the car in the colours of 1040?

From what I understand, Bob Houghton built three of these. Not sure which is which. The one that Sheehan sold contained the original motor, trans, and chassis # plate.
This is NOT #1034 (which incorporates original parts), but JDR 001, built by Haidjuk (sic) and sold by Sheehan to a well known Belgium/France source. Recently repainted from swisstronic look to Penske ;-). Daytona engine, chassis completely remanufactured and altered to accommodate large driver... etc. (see M. Sheehan´s advertisement). Wasn´t to bad a buy when sold by Sheehan(considering the then current exchange rate). Well done car, but nowhere close to the (almost ;-) ) equally nonoriginal 1034. Therefore: info found here: http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-512M-JDR01 Just saw the ebay ad... I´m stunned. And speechless. Advertising a replica as another replica... WOW!!! !!! This is NOT 1034 !!! Regards, DB
