    Greetings gentlemen

the battery on my key fob was running a bit low judging by the fading red lights on it.

Opened it up,simple allen key in the back, standard looking battery inside.

Swapped it over.Lights on when pressing fob,all looking fine.

Unfortuantely, car now wont unlock,or deactivate immobiliser.

Should have known it wouldn't be that simple, but hey ;)

Its not a watch battery type with complicated sealed in workings as the one on the lamboweb repairs page.

Any owners have any tips?Am guessing the battery runs out every few years,so I think someone must have been in the same situation.

    best regards

    Nick

It should not loose the code by changing the battery. Is it the original MED key fob? Post a pic if you can.

I have done this many times with no problem. Did you put in two CR1220 3V batteries facing the correct way?

Are you sure you have a original Lambo MED fob and system? All the ones I have seen have TWO coin type batteries like I said above. Maybe that is the problem? Any pictures of what u have? Maybe aftermarket alarm?
