All this yak about a #1 at Mercedes stinks of one thing; MS's insecurity. he's smart enough to know that if the Mercedes is indeed a fast car his #1 competitor will be his team-mate. There is zip zero advantage of even talking about a #1 other than to sooth MS's insecurities or to instill them in NR. Means the same thing to MS. The other thing is that NR does not "need to learn how to win". Either his car is fast or it is not. If MS can help make it so so much the better for both. Its Alonso and Hammy all over again. The BS stops when the flag drops.
Especially for Nico. He is fairly clever so I'm sure he'll be able to learn from MS once he practices reversing the image .

just coming back from Munich, it's COLD in Germany and we had some snow. The vast majority of European men I've seen during fall and winter travels in Europe tend to wear a scarf. I even wear one in the summer. Besides, the attire on the MB group was class. Carol
