Found the Red Scud, Black Saleen S7 Racer, Cadillac LMP, another Orange Murci, a couple of different VW Beetles and a couple others I can't think of right now. Most of them have 5 spoke Goodyear Wheels except for the Scud and Murci.

I'm calling this a fake or somebody's own collection. Like Apex mentioned, the sticker from the 288GTO Racer is attached to the upper right of the package, and the car itself is inside. Too bad though, this would be awesome!

The link you posted shows a 10 pack that was bought at a Flea Market, not a retailer and could have been filled by the Flea Market seller. I still feel that the 8 Ferrari Racer/1 Jag/1 Heli 10 pack is a "made-up" 10 pack, not something Mattel is offering for retail sale.

When you get it, could you take photos of the sides, and back of the box? I'm wondering if the Mattel stickers on the opening sides will be intact.

Has anyone found the 5 pack ferrari set that has a blue f156 in it? I have seen it for sale in Japan and Germany but not in the US. Also looking for the set with the yellow p4.

That happens a lot. Its like the 5 pack a few years back that came out with a mainline type Yellow P4.

Hadn't looked at hw's in probably 3-4 months. Went to Target today and picked up a 599 and P-GT1 Speed Machines. And a couple of new mystery cars.

I don't know why I never thought of it before, but if you shake the mystery box around you can determine whether or not the cars are the same.

    Today's haul...

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

I much prefer the 430 Scuderia in this darkish red, rather than the yellow...

Interestingly, I found the Lamborghini Gallardo in two different series'. I have now seen it on the following cards:

    Big Card-#12/52-"HW Premiere '10"-"Lamborghini Gallardo"

    Small Card-#12/52-"HW Premiere '10"-"Lamborghini Gallardo"

    Big Card-#3/10-"All Stars '10"-"Gallardo LP560-4"

I can't recall any other cars I've seen appearing in different series', with different names, in the same year...

Was at my parents this weekend and I finally picked up some of the stuff my mom had for my Christmas stocking. 2 Muscle Cars, can't remember the brand 1/64th. She also found a 599 last year from the Toys R Us special Ferrari packs. Unfortunately she folded the card. But it's okay, it's the thought that counts right. :)

She didn't, lol. She thought I still took them all out of the package. But I said it was okay. Thought it was funny I had such a hard time finding even one and my mom found one.

I'm still of the opinion that this set was "made up" by a reseller and is not a set being offered by Mattel at traditional retailers.

I'm one of the few that can maintain Hot Wheels self control, besides I don't have much wall space in my home.

I only collect the cars I like, I'm not a "Pokemon Master" (Gotta have 'em all). But, I've also been collecting for 30 years.
